LOST

Cody, Sierra, Creed and myself are here visiting in Utah.

Today after visiting with Cecil & Nancy for a bit Cody asked if he could go on a walk by himself.  Without thinking much about it I said, sure go ahead.  After visiting for a while I realized he was not back.  Hmmmm?  I called down to Marcus's house and he wasn't there.  I texted Jennifer and she didn't reply.   I then decided it was time to drive around the neighborhood.

Here is what happened, described by Cody "ok i decided to take a walk and im in utah right now and i get lost and ended up walking almost 7 miles so i end up at this gas station and i buy a water then i go up tp the cashier and and say can you give me directions to murray ( even though i was already in murray ) and he said what part and i said uuuuh i dont know can just use your phone and he said ok so i call and im thinking im sitting in it now so then my mom comes and shes laughing at me and now im back home typing this horrible story."

My version, I am driving around the and get a phone call from an unknown number and it's Cody.  "Hi Mom."  Me: "Where are you?"  Cody: "At a gas station."  Me: "At the Seven Elevn?"  Cody asking the person at the gas station, "Is this the Seven Eleven" pasuse..."No this is the Sunburts."  Me: "What is the address?"  Cody asked the man , "5600 South and 13th East."  What?! I am thinking....

Cody was sitting outside on the bench waiting for me when I pulled up with a water he bought w/ the two dollars he had in his pocket.

He walked all over trying to get back to the house, Dillards, where the old hopsital was, back in a neighborhood where he said he made a big circle...etc.

So next time Cody asks to go on a walk the answer is NO. :)

Mini Olympics 2010

Every year our school has the "Mini-Olympics".  This year was Cody's last year to participate as a competitor.  Cameron was a coach again.  Sierra and Creed still have a few years to enjoy the fun...
