Cody's Crash

Four wheelers: I have never really loved them when my children are riding them.  Cody is an example why:

When going up a steep hill you should make sure there is not too much weight on the back of the 4 wheeler and you must lean forward, a lot.

Cody is very lucky/blessed that he only came out with a little bit of road rash on his chest and arms and not a squooshed head.

The marks under his eyes are just war paint.

Scout Canoe Trip...

Every year our ward goes to the same scout camp around the 4th of July.  This year they decided to change it up a little and take a week long canoe trip on the Buffalo National River.
The crew...

Many treasures can be found on the river, like these rare and beautiful glasses Cameron found.

Cody and Cameron are in the middle.  Cody and Barry hiked to the top.  Cameron decided to stay in a "safe" place.

Always looking for something to climb.

Horseback riders.

Although the trip was cut short due to the water dropping too fast (the Buffalo River is not a dammed river so if there is not rain, there is no water) the boys had a great time.

Gone mudding...

I really enjoying mowing the lawn.  It gives me a sense of instant gratification that does not go away in two seconds, because it takes several days for the grass to show new growth.  One thing that is not uncommon when I mow the lawn is that I am really good at getting the lawnmower stuck.

The last time I got it stuck, I got it stuck really well.  The boys were less than excited to help me get it out since they had just taken showers and gotten ready for the day.

Cody went to wash off in the pond.  When he put his fingers in a catfish came up and took a taste...
