Happy Halloween

Its kind of strange not making an award winning costume for the Halloween contest at the school or loading all the kids in the car to go trick or treating.  It's actually a little sad and a little relief all in one.

Family Visit

We drove down after sacrament meeting today so we could have a Johnson family dinner.  Leslie & Laura had flown in from Utah.  We hadn't seen Terry & Dorothy in a long time.  It was great to get together and catch up.

Super Saturday

After an early morning at Sierra's cross country meet, we came home, took a shower and headed to Springfield MO for Super Saturday!  (It was Sierra's 1st).  First they completed a service project by putting together 1700 care packets for women's shelters.  Then dinner and a dance.  It was fun watching my kids interact with others and dance.

Oh and Cody was interviewed by a Springfield news station, Kolr 10, about the event.

Sierra's 1st Cross Country Meet: Berryville Invitational

Sierra had her 1st cross country meet and she didn't do to shabby.  :)  She was 1st in her division (small schools) and 9th overall out of 140 plus jr. high school girls.  Her time for her two mile race was a 13:19.

It was very wet and quite cold.

Siblings

I took this photos to send to Cameron so he could see how much his little sister has grown.   Cody does not like taking photos next to his sister anymore.

1st Assembly of God: Speed the Light Color Run 5K

Sierra needed to run on the weekend for her cross country training and there just happened to be a color run in Jasper that Saturday morning.  It was a really fun event,  almost everyone there was from Jasper so we practically knew everyone.  It felt like a big town get together.  It was probably the most enjoyable 5K's I have ever done because of that.

This is my fancy slow motion running. - LOL

The 1st two to cross the finish line.

Receiving her 1st Overall Female medal and gift card.

Sierra looking like her beautiful self after the race and I look like I was pushed down and run over in the dirt. LOL
