1A Senior District Track Meet

Here we are again, watching Cameron run, run & run!  Since he is a Freshman the coached bumped him up to run in the Sr. High District Meet.  He has now qualified to go to the 1A State meet which is this weekend down near Texarkana at the Trinity Christian school .  He will only be running the 1600M even though he also qualified in the 800M. Should be fun and exciting!

This was after he ran the 1600M - still smiling. That is a good sign.
He told me that morning that Aero is his lucky shirt. I need to get me one of those.

Sierra's Art Awards Reception

Sierra received a honorable mention - she was in the top three third graders in the state of Arkansas.

The reception was held in Little Rock at the Terry House. The home was built in the 1800's.

I think Cody was the most excited to be there as you will see by looking at all of the photos he is in.

The was the "Best in Class" in the third grade division.

I know Creed is a little blurry in this photo - he told Barry, "Dad do not look at this!" and then covered it with his art catalog. If you look at the leg behind him you can see what he was covering up. :)

Is it possible to get a good kid photo?

Just waiting for the awards part to start.

Sierra and her art teacher Ms. Booth.
$100 it donated to the school art program because of Sierra's placement in the contest.
Her art will be on tour throughout the state of Arkansas for 2 years.

Grandpa Johnson helping Cody with his smile, since he has seemed to have lost it.

Do you see Creed?

Heading back to the van...

Sierra grabbed one last think of complimentary ice cream before we left.

Happy Birthday Creed!

Our "baby" turned 7! For Creed's birthday we decided to go see "How to Train a Dragon". He invited a couple of friends from school and as you can see, several kids that were vacationing at the ranch for spring break. With all of his guests and his brothers and sister we had to take the 15 passenger van.

Creed requested we eat at Dragon King - his favorite Chinese restaurant. I didn't realize how quick kids of his age would eat, duh, so we had about one hour to play at the park while we waited for the movie to start.

Cameron and Cody were my bouncers! I was very glad that they came along to help.

No, that is not Creed. He was busy playing so Jay stood in for him.

As you can see, it really didn't matter that Creed was not in the picture, it had no chance of turning out anyway. My bouncers needed bouncers. :)

What ever Cameron is doing, Sierra does not like it.

It was a challenge to keep an eye on all of the kids that were not mine...they were all over the place. I was glad when it was time to go to the movie. Once the show started they turned into movie zombies. Shweew!
