Girls Trip

I decided it was time for another girls trip with Sierra, the last one we took was forever ago and she had been asking, every year, when we could go on another one.  So we decided to head to Lexington, VA to watch the "Great American Trail Horse Competition and Sale".

We didn't drive the entire 16 hrs the first day as we got a late start so we stayed in a nice LaQuinta Inn.

FINALLY we arrived.

The facility was very nice.  Numerous arenas including a covered one and a big colosseum.

The night before the sale was the trail horse competition of the horses that were to be sold the next day.

This is what the trip was really about, doing toes, nails and facials!

Playing on the iPad waiting for the time to be up to rinse her face.

The next morning before the sale we went and walked around the historic town of Lexington, VA.

Hand made chocolate.

Not really sure what the owner of this car was trying to say...

Sierra loved walking through the boutique.  She is all about shopping.

The sale was fun to watch and that night we found a movie theater and watched Mirror Mirror.  It was only $9 for Sierra and I both to see the movie.  Maybe it was because the  movie was played on the old school reel and the theater was right next to a train track.  A couple of times it sounded like snow white might get run over by a train.

The best part of the trip was spending time with Sierra.  Wonder where we will end up next time?
