Sierra's Art Awards Reception

Sierra received a honorable mention - she was in the top three third graders in the state of Arkansas.

The reception was held in Little Rock at the Terry House. The home was built in the 1800's.

I think Cody was the most excited to be there as you will see by looking at all of the photos he is in.

The was the "Best in Class" in the third grade division.

I know Creed is a little blurry in this photo - he told Barry, "Dad do not look at this!" and then covered it with his art catalog. If you look at the leg behind him you can see what he was covering up. :)

Is it possible to get a good kid photo?

Just waiting for the awards part to start.

Sierra and her art teacher Ms. Booth.
$100 it donated to the school art program because of Sierra's placement in the contest.
Her art will be on tour throughout the state of Arkansas for 2 years.

Grandpa Johnson helping Cody with his smile, since he has seemed to have lost it.

Do you see Creed?

Heading back to the van...

Sierra grabbed one last think of complimentary ice cream before we left.

Congratulations, Sierra!! The picture looked good in the news clipping, but it looks much better in color.

That is awesome for Sierra!!! She can draw so much better than me. I can't even draw a stick figure and she drew a whole person. That is neat that they did it at an old historic house.

Thanks everyone... sometimes I wonder where our kids really came from. Waiting for their "real" parents to show up.
